Today, the medical community is coming together to focus and expand health care for kids in one place, right here in Tucson -- The Diamond Children's Medical Center.

| Diamond Children's Medical Center, scheduled to open in 2010 on the campus of the Arizona Health Sciences Center, will unite the pediatric resources of Steele Children's Research Center, University Medical Center and The University of Arizona to provide exceptional health care for our children and their families.

UMC is the primary teaching hospital for The University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing as well as UA Centers of Excellence such as Steele Children's Research Center, the Arizona Cancer Center, the UA Sarver Heart Center, Arizona Arthritis Center and the Arizona Respiratory Center.
